Propel Fitness Journal, Issue 027
I just got back from a few weeks traveling Canada’s East Coast—hiking cliffs, scrambling over rocks, climbing up to viewpoints you can’t reach by car. And it hit me: this is exactly why you train.
Not for PRs. Not for aesthetics. But because having a body that’s capable, strong, and resilient means you get to live life on your own terms. You get to hike harder, climb higher, and come home with memories you wouldn’t trade for anything.
Strength training and fitness aren’t about restricting your life—they’re about expanding it. The better you take care of your body, the more your world opens up.
So here’s my challenge for you this week: think about the experiences you want to say yes to. Then ask yourself—what kind of training will help me get there?
